When to arrive
Land on the Monday.
Overnight and early morning flights from the east coast mean most delegates arrive with barely a dent in the working week. Others come in earlier and make a short trip of it.

When to depart
Fly out Thursday.
State of Social wraps up on the Wednesday. An evening flight east works, though a Thursday morning departure leaves room for the conversations that keep going after the last session.
Perth runs on AWST, two hours behind the east coast in August and on the same clock as Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

The airport
Getting here is the easy part.
Perth Airport connects to more than 110 destinations, with direct flights from cities including London, Rome, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo and Dubai, and frequent daily services from every major Australian city.
Once you land, the stadium precinct is minutes away.

Fifteen to twenty minutes from the terminal to the lobby at Crown Perth or into the CBD.

Crown Perth, a walk from the stadium.

What August feels like
Cool mornings, warm afternoons.
Perth has a Mediterranean climate and more sunshine than any other Australian capital. Late August brings cool mornings and pleasantly warm afternoons: comfortable for full conference days and for the time outside either side of them.
Layers work well. Sunglasses, sunscreen and a light jacket earn their place in the bag.
